Job Title: Sales Engineer (Hydraulic Equipment)

Location: Abu Dhabi

Contract Type: Direct hire

Salary: 15000 AED

Nationality: Saudi

Job Description: As a Sales Engineer specializing in hydraulic equipment, your primary responsibility is to drive sales growth by effectively promoting and selling hydraulic products and solutions to customers. You will play a crucial role in understanding customer requirements, providing technical expertise, and building strong relationships to maximize revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the designated territory or market segment.
    • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and drive revenue growth.
    • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking prospects and opportunities through effective CRM usage.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer service, to deliver comprehensive solutions to customers.
  2. Technical Expertise:

    • Possess in-depth knowledge of hydraulic equipment, systems, and components, including pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fluid power systems.
    • Understand customer applications and provide expert advice on appropriate hydraulic solutions.
    • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical training sessions for customers, both in-person and virtually.
    • Stay updated with industry developments, new product releases, and advancements in hydraulic technology.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners.
    • Actively engage with customers to understand their requirements, address concerns, and provide timely solutions.
    • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle, from pre-sales consultations to post-sales support.
    • Conduct regular customer visits, attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and expand the customer base.
  4. Sales Support and Documentation:

    • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts, ensuring accurate pricing, specifications, and terms.
    • Collaborate with the internal team to develop customized solutions and provide accurate technical specifications.
    • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence summaries for management review.
    • Maintain thorough documentation of customer interactions, sales activities, and project progress.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven sales experience in the hydraulic equipment industry or a similar technical sales role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

The Sales Advisor in the automotive industry plays a crucial role in assisting customers in their vehicle purchasing journey. They provide expert guidance, conduct product demonstrations, and facilitate the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Consultation:
Greet customers, understand their needs, and engage in consultative discussions to determine their requirements and preferences.
Provide comprehensive product information, including features, specifications, and pricing options, to assist customers in making informed purchase decisions.
Conduct test drives and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and capabilities of different vehicles.

Sales Process:
Guide customers through the sales process, including vehicle selection, financing options, and paperwork completion.
Collaborate with the sales team and finance department to ensure a smooth and efficient sales transaction.
Negotiate pricing, trade-ins, and additional services to reach mutually beneficial agreements with customers.
Customer Relationship Management:

Continuously educate yourself on the features, benefits, and specifications of the vehicles in the dealership's inventory.
Leverage your knowledge to provide accurate and relevant information to customers and to position the dealership's offerings effectively.
Sales Targets and Reporting:

Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets set by the sales manager or dealership.
Track and report sales activities, customer interactions, and sales metrics using CRM software or other designated systems.
Provide regular sales reports and updates to the sales manager or management team.
Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent (some college education is preferred).
Previous experience in automotive sales, retail sales, or customer service is an asset.
In-depth knowledge of automotive products, including different vehicle models, features, and specifications.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities to facilitate successful sales transactions.
Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in using CRM software, MS Office applications, and other sales-related tools.
